ROYAL ENERGY

Royal Energy is an injectable preparation for horses and camels, presented by the manufacturer as a respiratory stimulant and energy support product for animals in work. It is given by intravenous or intramuscular injection.

Composition

The manufacturer describes the formula as proprietary and does not publish the active substances. The composition applicable to the batch supplied is given on the vial label and carton. Read it before use. Do not administer a preparation whose active substances you cannot identify, and do not assume it is free of controlled substances because no list is given — the absence of a declaration is not a declaration of absence.

Presentation and route

Sterile injectable solution for intravenous or intramuscular administration. Intravenous injection must be given slowly and by someone competent to do so. Store in the original carton, protected from light, at the temperature given on the label. Do not freeze. Disinfect the stopper before each withdrawal and use a sterile needle and syringe. Keep out of reach of children.

Important

Dose, route and interval are set by the attending veterinarian for the individual animal. Preparations marketed for use in the days immediately before competition fall squarely within the medication rules of racing and competition authorities, and many such products contain substances that are prohibited rather than merely restricted by a detection time. Where the composition is not published, neither you nor your veterinarian can check it against those rules — request the full declaration from the supplier before ordering if the animal competes. Any consequence of a positive test falls on the trainer and the owner. Withdrawal periods apply to animals destined for food production. This page is product information, not veterinary advice.
