Tornado is an injectable preparation for horses, supplied as a 10 ml solution for intravenous administration. It is sold as a circulatory and oxygen-delivery support product for animals in hard work.
Composition
The active substances and their concentrations are stated on the vial label and carton. Read the label before use. Do not administer a product whose composition you cannot confirm, and do not assume it is equivalent to any other preparation sold under a similar description.
Presentation and route
Sterile injectable solution, 10 ml, for intravenous administration. Store in the original carton, protected from light, at the temperature given on the label. Do not freeze. Use a sterile needle and syringe. Intravenous injection must be given slowly and by someone competent to do so. Keep out of reach of children.
Use in camels
This product is presented for use in horses. There is no established guidance for its use in camels, and dose, interval and safety in that species have not been set out by the manufacturer. Any use outside the labelled species is a decision for the attending veterinarian, who takes responsibility for it.
Important
Preparations intended to raise circulation and oxygen delivery before exercise fall under the medication rules of racing and competition authorities in essentially every jurisdiction, and many are prohibited outright rather than merely restricted by a detection time. Check the rules that apply to your discipline, your region and your governing body before administering this product to a competing animal; the penalties fall on the trainer and the owner, not on the supplier. Dose, route and timing are set by the attending veterinarian for the individual animal. Withdrawal periods apply to animals destined for food production.
